Peparlance AI ("Peparlance", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it's protected when you use peparlanceai.online.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we store your email address and basic profile details via Supabase authentication, so your practice history, study plans, and Premium status stay in sync across your devices. Signing in is required to run a paper analysis; without it, you can still browse content that's already been analysed.

Your question papers stay in your browser

PDF text extraction and OCR run entirely on your device using PDF.js and Tesseract.js. Your uploaded files are never uploaded to our servers — only the extracted question text is sent to our AI pipeline for clustering and scoring.

What we store server-side

• Analysis results (question clusters, topics, importance scores), so repeat uploads of the same paper load instantly from cache.
• Your practice history and study plan progress, if you're signed in.
• Usage counters, to apply Free-tier limits fairly.
• Your Premium status and expiry date, if you've purchased a plan.

Payments

Peparlance offers Free access alongside paid Premium plans (Monthly, 6-Month, and Yearly). Premium payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway, using a secure checkout window. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details — Razorpay handles that directly and passes us only a verified confirmation once payment succeeds, which we use solely to activate your Premium plan.

Third-party services

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run Peparlance: Supabase for authentication and data storage, Razorpay for payments, and Google, Groq, Gemini, and OpenRouter for AI processing of extracted question text. Each provider is bound by its own data-processing and security terms.

Your choices

You can request deletion of your account data at any time from the Profile section, or by contacting us. Signing out, or choosing not to sign in, stops any future data collection tied to your identity.

We may update this policy as Peparlance evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page.
